Forza 450 EX and Forza 700 Announced for 2014

Published: December 27, 2013
JR ProPo announced recently that they will be releasing the Forza 450EX (a second version of the current Forza 450) and the Forza 700 in the Spring of 2014.

JR ProPo, the Japanese brand owned by Horizon Hobby of the US is currently beginning to release details of two new products that are scheduled to arrive in the spring of 2014.

First up is a modified variant of the 450-sized Forza 450 which has been on the market about a year and a half. The new version will feature 360mm main blades swung by a 6s power system as well as the addition of a composite boom cover resembling the look of the SAB Goblin helicopters. From sketches released thus far it does not appear that the composite boom will be a structural part of the fuselage, rather it will be a cover for the round aluminum tail boom to serve aesthetic purposes.

The second major product announcement from the JR team will be the Forza 700, an electric variant that will build off of the success of the company's Forza 450 heli in the larger 700-class electric size range. If the published photos are any indication of how the final product will look, the larger heli appears to have a design that keeps with the look of the smaller Forza.

More details of each of the two JR ProPo helis should be released at the International Toy Fair Nuremberg in January 2014.
